Best and Cheapest Way to Get Rid of Spots!

I'm guessing most girls of my age have the same problem as myself... spots, pimples, zits or whatever you like to call them.

Fortunately I've never had any major spot problems or acne. BUT I did have the very annoying small groups of spots on my forehead. Most of the time they aren't noticable but it's still quite frustrating and sometimes it made my skin sensitive on the forehead.

I have tried a number of face wash gels and balms for the night the try to get rid of them but I don't like using these. I tried to avoid products that used alcohol since I've heard they're not that good for your skin. I've tried Clearasil, Garnier, Vichy (wasn't that bad) and a few others. They either didn't work at all (maybe because they were focusing on acne or bigger spots) or spots reappeared after I had stopped using the product. I'm not a girl who has enough money to be spending it on spot creams or gels or balms! There was also the problem of certain products that would dry out the moisture from my face. =_= sigh... what to do....

In the end I stopped using spot products and tried to find better ways to get rid of them. I'm not sure if you know about this beauty guru called Bubzbeauty (http://www.youtube.com/user/bubzbeauty) but she is amazing. She has a video on a face wash using only oatmeal
(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7e5_RVBwNjE). I gave it a try and it really made my skin soft clearing the dirt from my pores. Since my pores were cleaner, this meant that less spots were forming.

What really helped to get rid of them was something that never even crossed my mind. Ordinary soap. OoO <--- epic face haha! Seriously! I picked up a milk and honey (I think) soap bar from a pharmacy and planned on using it for my hands. I used it one night to wash my face and I was amazed and how clean my face felt aterwards. I only noticed after a week or so that my spots were disappearing. Not only does soap clean the pores on your face but it also helps tighten them. Tighter pores allow less dirt to enter them and less dirt means less spots. Of course it didn't get rid of all of my spots but I'd say it got rid of 98% of them so I'm really pleased.~

Although there are people who say that soap dries out their face, for me that's not the case. My skin in perfectly moisturised and I don't use any lotions. My soap is a hydrating soap, maybe that's why. And also I believe that the oatmeal face wash locks in moisture.

Now, I do this oatmeal face wash every other day and I wash my face with soap every morning and every night. My skin feels great!~ =^-^=

I hope this helps people who are having the same problem I did. Even if you don't have spots it's still a good way to keep your skin feeling soft.
